Basic Layout Of Loader Control Joysticks

Dec 03, 2025

The control system of a loader typically consists of two main parts: the steering wheel and the control joysticks. The steering wheel controls the loader's direction of travel, while the joysticks control various actions, such as raising and lowering the bucket, tilting the bucket, and moving the loader forward and backward.

Regarding the location of the loader control joysticks, they are usually located on either side of the driver's seat. Specifically, some frequently used and important joysticks, such as those controlling bucket movement, are usually placed on the driver's right side. This design allows the driver to easily control these key functions with their right hand during operation.

The joysticks controlling the loader's direction of travel (forward, backward, etc.) are often placed on the driver's left side. This layout helps the driver maintain precise control of the bucket while easily adjusting the loader's travel.
